A UK tribunal denied interim pay to 34 Rockstar Games ex-employees fired over GTA 6 leaks, ruling no link to union activity.
A UK employment tribunal denied interim pay to 34 former Rockstar Games employees, including 31 in the UK and three in Canada, who were fired in late 2025 over alleged leaks of confidential GTA 6 information via a Discord server.
The workers, represented by the IWGB, claimed the firings were retaliatory for union organizing, but Judge Frances Eccles ruled there was insufficient evidence linking dismissals to union membership.
Rockstar maintained the firings were justified due to breaches of confidentiality, noting the server included non-employees and that some dismissed staff were inactive.
The company said it stands by its actions and that employees reported the group.
The case continues, with a full hearing expected before GTA 6’s November 2026 release.
