Two Irish homes linked to a mob boss's son are set for auction over alleged crime proceeds.
Two Limerick homes, valued at €120,000 and €100,000, linked to Kieran Keane Jr—son of slain mob boss Kieran Keane Sr—are set for public auction on February 26, 2026, after being seized by Ireland’s Garda Criminal Assets Bureau and declared proceeds of crime.
The properties, along with three vehicles and €100,000 in cash, were forfeited following a High Court ruling that Keane Jr, believed to reside between Spain and Dubai, had no legitimate income yet invested heavily in luxury assets.
The court accepted Garda evidence he was a key figure in organized crime and associated with known criminals.
The case stems from a 2003 mob killing tied to a long-running gang feud between the Keane and McCarthy Dundon families, which led to multiple murders and anti-gang legislation.
Bidders must register and submit security by February 24.
Proceeds will go to the Irish exchequer.
