A 39-year-old Regina woman was charged in connection with a January 9 hit-and-run incident that struck a nine-year-old girl crossing Sangster Boulevard, resulting in the child’s hospitalization and release.
The woman, who contacted police the next day, faces charges including failing to report an accident, failing to yield to a pedestrian, and driving without due care.
In a separate incident on the same day, a 29-year-old woman was charged with vehicle theft, erratic driving, refusing a breathalyzer demand, and possessing stolen property over $5,000, and is set to appear in court on February 18.
