Henry Boot gets approval for 5.5 million sq ft industrial park in Goole, creating 3,000 local jobs.
Henry Boot has received outline planning consent for Freeport 36, a 5.5 million square foot industrial park in Goole, Yorkshire, part of the Humber Freeport.
The project, led by Henry Boot’s HBD arm with St John’s College Cambridge, will create around 3,000 local jobs and up to 5,500 across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Located near Junction 36 of the M62 and adjacent to major transport and port infrastructure, the development benefits from freeport incentives like tax relief and reduced business rates.
Construction on the first phase, valued at £130 million, could begin before the end of 2026, with detailed plans now being finalized.
