Health Canada recalls No Name beef burgers over possible E. coli contamination; no illnesses reported.

Due to potential E. Coli O157:H7 contamination, Health Canada is recalling No Name frozen beef burgers that are sold all over the country. The impacted 1.36 kg boxes have UPC 0 60383 37333 7 and a best before date of May 5, 2026. Although no illnesses have been reported, the CFIA cautions that the bacteria can cause serious symptoms like stroke, kidney damage, and bloody diarrhea. The burgers must be thrown away or returned to the store; they should not be consumed or cooked. There may be more recalls as the investigation progresses.
