Five arrested in Saskatoon after traffic stops uncovered weapons, drugs, and alcohol.

Five people were arrested in Saskatoon over the weekend after two separate traffic stops. On January 9, officers found a sawed-off rifle, replica firearm, brass knuckles, bear spray, and methamphetamine during a stop on Avenue L South, leading to charges including prohibited weapon possession and breach of court conditions for several individuals. On January 11, a stop near Pacific Avenue and 23rd Street East uncovered a firearm, drugs, drug paraphernalia, bear spray, and open alcohol, resulting in multiple weapons and drug charges against a 35-year-old male driver, who was also ticketed for open alcohol.
