The FIFA World Cup Trophy has arrived in India for the first time in 12 years as part of Coca-Cola’s global 2026 World Cup Trophy Tour, beginning in Delhi with a ceremonial unveiling attended by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and former Brazil player Gilberto D’Silva.
The 6.175kg, 18-carat gold trophy was displayed in an immersive exhibit, allowing fans to view it up close and participate in interactive football activities.
The tour, part of a 50-year partnership between Coca-Cola and FIFA, will visit 30 countries over 150 days, promoting youth engagement, grassroots development, and sustainability through Coca-Cola India’s #MaidaanSaaf initiative.
The event highlights India’s growing football culture and its ambition to become a top-five sporting nation by 2047.
