Passengers, including a nurse, intervened, and police arrested Craig at Larbert station after he changed clothes.
He was convicted of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Judge Lord Arthurson condemned the unprovoked violence, emphasizing public safety, and noted Craig’s remorse and addiction struggles.
He will serve three years of post-release supervision.
