Rajasthan to create 1 million jobs for youth in five years, building on recent progress.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced on January 12, 2026, that the state plans to create 400,000 government jobs and 600,000 private sector jobs for youth within five years, building on 100,000 government jobs created in the past two years.
He highlighted over 300,000 youth trained, nearly 200,000 internships offered, and 658 startups supported.
