Ola Electric has launched Shakti, its first residential energy storage system, produced at its Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, gigafactory. Powered by India-developed 4680 Bharat Cells, the system offers instant 0 ms backup, IP67 protection, and real-time monitoring for homes, farms, and small businesses. Available in four configurations, it supports major appliances, charges fully in two hours, and provides up to 1.5 hours of backup. Now available for reservation with a ₹999 deposit, the launch marks Ola’s expansion into decentralized energy solutions, supporting India’s clean energy and power reliability goals.
