Bow Street, owner of the Wildwood restaurant chain, is pursuing acquisitions after a restructuring effort showed positive results, with like-for-like revenue up 1.3% during the Christmas period.
The company, formerly Tasty, appointed David Page as executive chairman in July, secured £10.1 million in funding, and is reviewing its restaurant estate, including plans to close its Gerrards Cross location for cost savings.
The move follows the closure of 18 sites in June 2024, which contributed to a 21.9% revenue drop the prior year.
Now focused on rebuilding, Bow Street is refurbishing six locations, testing new menus, and exploring strategic acquisitions to strengthen performance amid ongoing post-pandemic market challenges.
