Stephen Wengam of the Assemblies of God in Ghana urged citizens to embrace gratitude and reject pessimism to drive national development, highlighting its role in leadership and unity during a thanksgiving service marking President Mahama’s second term anniversary. The church also donated vehicles to key institutions, including Brong Ahafo Region B, to improve administrative efficiency and ministry outreach. Meanwhile, Ghana introduced new forex rules requiring a Ghana Card, police made arrests in assault and kidnapping cases, and digital initiatives like the Ghana National Resource System were unveiled at CES 2026.
