The Miami Dolphins are interviewing Chris Shula for their head coaching job.
The Miami Dolphins are reportedly seeking to interview Chris Shula, defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams and grandson of Hall of Fame coach Don Shula, for their head coaching vacancy.
Shula, 39, has been with the Rams since 2017, serving as defensive coordinator since 2024, and helped lead a defense that ranked among the league’s top in red zone and goal-to-go efficiency.
The Dolphins, who finished 7-10 in 2025 and missed the playoffs for the second straight year after firing Mike McDaniel, are also expected to consider other candidates, including John Harbaugh.
Don Shula, who coached Miami for 26 years and led the 1972 perfect-season team, remains the NFL’s winningest coach.
