Eric Singleton Jr., a wide receiver who played at Auburn and Georgia Tech, has transferred to Florida, entering the transfer portal after withdrawing from the 2026 NFL Draft.
He joins the Gators under new head coach Jon Sumrall, reuniting with offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner and wide receivers coach Trent McKnight, who previously coached him at Georgia Tech.
Singleton recorded 1,468 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in two seasons at Georgia Tech, compared to 534 yards and three touchdowns at Auburn in 2025.
He averaged 14.1 yards per catch at Georgia Tech versus 9.2 at Auburn.
His move is part of a broader trend, with six Auburn receivers entering the transfer portal since the 2025 season.
Florida’s receiving corps now includes returning players Vernell Brown III and Dallas Wilson, along with tight end Amir Jackson.
The transfer portal closes on January 16.
