Mitchell, a second-round pick from Toledo, led the league in passes defended and allowed no touchdowns in over 600 coverage snaps, while DeJean, a second-round pick from Iowa, excelled as a slot cornerback with elite coverage metrics and zero touchdowns allowed in his role.
Their performances helped transform the Eagles’ defense into a top unit, contributing to a Super Bowl victory and a league-best passing defense.
