The Sanderson Farms Championship won’t be held in 2026 for the first time since 1968 due to loss of its sponsor.
The Sanderson Farms Championship, a PGA Tour event in Mississippi since 1968, will not be held in 2026 for the first time in 58 years due to the loss of its title sponsor, Wayne-Sanderson Farms, and the inability to secure a replacement.
The tournament, which had been supported by the Century Club Charities and raised over a million dollars for charity in 2025, is being replaced by two new events in the FedEx Cup Fall series: the Biltmore Championship in Asheville, North Carolina, and the Good Good Championship in Austin, Texas.
The 2026 PGA Tour schedule features eight fall events, including stops in Mexico, Japan, Bermuda, and the U.S., with the Presidents Cup set for Medinah, Illinois.
The new schedule also includes a two-week swing through Mexico and adjustments to several other events.
El Sanderson Farms Championship no se celebrará en 2026 por primera vez desde 1968 debido a la pérdida de su patrocinador.
