Pooja Vastrakar misses at least two weeks of the WPL 2026 due to a hamstring injury.
Pooja Vastrakar, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s pace bowler, will miss at least two weeks of the Women’s Premier League 2026 due to a hamstring injury sustained during rehab for a shoulder issue at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence.
The injury ruled her out of RCB’s opening match against Mumbai Indians, which the team won in a close contest thanks to Nadine de Klerk’s historic all-round performance—scoring a half-century and taking four wickets.
RCB also gave debuts to Arundhati Reddy and handed the new ball to England’s Linsey Smith.
Coach Malolan Rangarajan said Vastrakar’s recovery will be assessed weekly, with no confirmed return date beyond the initial two-week estimate.
Pooja Vastrakar se pierde al menos dos semanas del WPL 2026 debido a una lesión en el tendón de la corva.
