Meta has secured up to 6.6 gigawatts of nuclear power through agreements with TerraPower, Oklo, and Vistra to support its AI data center in New Albany, Ohio, aiming to power about 5 million homes by 2035.
The deals include funding for two Natrium reactors by 2032, rights to six additional units, and over 2.1 gigawatts from existing Vistra plants in Ohio and Pennsylvania, plus a 1.2-gigawatt power campus in Ohio.
The move supports Meta’s AI infrastructure needs, promotes clean energy, and strengthens the U.S. nuclear supply chain, with financial terms undisclosed.
