A judge has warned against speculative social media activity ahead of the January 19 inquest into the death of 14-year-old Noah Donohoe, found in a Belfast storm drain in June 2020 after going missing while cycling.
Mr Justice Rooney emphasized that posts potentially prejudicing the inquest could lead to serious consequences, urging both the public and involved parties to avoid sharing unverified information.
The case, drawing significant attention due to unresolved circumstances and a large-scale search, will proceed with a jury, following review hearings on January 15–16.
Noah’s mother, Fiona Donohoe, hopes the proceedings will bring clarity.
