ThedaCare has opened its new $84 million ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh at 250 West 6th Avenue, offering 24/7 emergency care and expanded services to residents on the city’s east side.
The 114,000-square-foot, three-story facility, located near the Fox River, addresses longstanding healthcare access disparities by reducing travel times for emergency care from over 15 minutes.
Built to serve a growing population east of I-41, the hospital includes inpatient and outpatient care, surgery, pediatrics, imaging, labs, and a drive-thru pharmacy.
The project, which began nearly two years ago, adds a 28,000-square-foot third floor and supports downtown revitalization.
The hospital opened to the public after an open house on January 8, 2026, with full operations beginning January 19.
