Authorities seized eight luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce, Cadillac, and Toyota Sequoia, linked to former Ako Bicol party-list rep Zaldy Co in a joint operation at a Bonifacio Global City condo on January 8, 2026. The cars, registered under Co’s companies and family members, lacked proper import documents and had unpaid duties. Some were reportedly bulletproof. The raid, involving CIDG, Bureau of Customs, and PNP-HPG, targeted alleged misuse of flood control funds tied to a P289 million project in Oriental Mindoro. Co, who fled to the U.S. in July 2025 citing threats, remains a fugitive with a Sandiganbayan arrest warrant. The vehicles were moved to a storage facility in Taguig, and authorities are investigating ownership of the parking spots.
