Himachal Pradesh will digitize health services to boost access and transparency, with a plan due in ten days.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the integration of online services into the state’s health system to improve efficiency, transparency, and access. A committee led by Health Minister Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil will propose a digital transformation plan within ten days, focusing on expanding the Himcare Scheme to panchayats, integrating ABHA cards with the Him Parivar Portal, and digitizing patient records. The move aims to enhance monitoring, grievance redressal, and healthcare planning. The state is receiving support from JICA for health infrastructure upgrades.
