A dominoes game in Gwinnett County, Georgia, turned deadly on November 29, 2025, when Danilo Lopez-Bardales allegedly stabbed Rigoberto Lopez-Castro during the match. Police responded, applied a tourniquet, and treated the victim until paramedics arrived. Lopez-Bardales fled but was found hiding behind a shed at a nearby home by K9 Titan, a police dog whose handler, MPO Scully, is the department’s first female K9 officer. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a knife during a crime, and obstruction. The victim survived. The case remains under investigation.
