Michigan hires Utah’s Jason Beck as offensive coordinator, bringing five assistants from Utah and adding two from Penn State and Nevada.

Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham has named Jason Beck as offensive coordinator, bringing four coaches from his Utah staff to Ann Arbor. Beck, who led Utah’s high-powered offense in 2025 averaging 41.2 points and 482.9 yards per game, will be joined by Jim Harding, Micah Simon, Freddie Whittingham, and Koy Detmer Jr. Additionally, Michigan hired Marques Hagans from Penn State and Mike Lynch from Nevada to support the offensive staff.
