Kalo Gold began a large-scale aerial survey at its Fijian gold project in late January 2026 to identify drill targets.
Kalo Gold Corp. has launched a large-scale helicopter-borne geophysical and LiDAR survey at its Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji, set to begin in late January 2026.
The 5,700 line-kilometre survey, conducted by Pioneer Exploration Consultants Ltd., will collect high-resolution magnetic, radiometric, and terrain data to map geological structures and identify potential gold-bearing zones.
The data will be processed in real time and integrated into Kalo’s geological model to prioritize drill targets for its 2026 exploration program.
The project, located on Vanua Levu under two Special Prospecting Licences, covers 367 km² in a volcanic back-arc setting with known gold potential.
The survey was reviewed and approved by an independent qualified person.
No mineral discoveries have been announced.
