A national survey has launched to gather feedback on Ireland’s Hot School Meals Programme, which provides free hot meals to primary school students. Parents, teachers, and meal providers across Mayo and Meath are being invited to share input on meal quality, food waste, preparation methods, and dietary needs. The initiative, introduced in 2019 and expanded under Fine Gael, serves 550,000 children in 3,200 schools.
