The intrusions, detected in December, involved unencrypted communications and may have enabled access to sensitive data, though it's unclear if lawmakers' personal emails were accessed.
The group, linked to China's Ministry of State Security, has previously intercepted U.S. officials' calls and messages.
The FBI, White House, and committees did not comment, while the Chinese Embassy denied the allegations.
