Two Western University students are expanding their painting business, hiring crews for the 2026 season and donating to MS Canada.
Malaya Misch, 19, and Bria McCann, 18, students at Western University, are expanding their painting business, Grand Bend Student Painters, under the Student Works program.
The company, founded by Misch last year, completed about 100 jobs in southern Ontario and plans to hire five crews for the 2026 season.
Both women, studying business and health sciences, manage marketing, sales, and operations while gaining hands-on entrepreneurial experience.
They donate $10 per job to MS Canada and aim to inspire young women to start businesses, emphasizing that age is no barrier.
Jobs for the season are already booked across Huron County and London.
