Connor Bedard returned to practice, progressing from a shoulder injury, and may return this weekend.
Chicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard returned to practice Tuesday, progressing in his recovery from a right shoulder injury sustained on December 12.
He did not play in Wednesday’s game against the Blues, but coach Jeff Blashill said Bedard could return this weekend against Washington or Nashville.
Bedard, who had 19 goals and 25 assists in 31 games before the injury, expressed disappointment over not making Canada’s Olympic roster but remains on the standby list for potential injury replacement.
The Blackhawks have won three straight games since his absence and are 4-6-1 overall.
