Aurum Resources secured full mining licences for its Côte d’Ivoire gold projects, advancing to full development with 3.28 million ounces in gold inventory.
Aurum Resources has applied for three mining licences covering 573 square kilometres in Côte d’Ivoire’s Boundiali gold project, achieving full licence coverage and entering full development mode.
This follows a strong 2025 with over 100,000 metres of drilling, resource upgrades to 2.41 million ounces at Boundiali and 870,000 ounces at Napie, and the acquisition of the Napie project through its Mako Gold takeover.
The company plans 100,000 metres of drilling at Boundiali and 30,000 at Napie in 2026, with a prefeasibility study and further resource updates expected this quarter.
With $40.1 million in cash, no debt, and a 12-rig drilling fleet, Aurum’s total gold inventory now stands at 3.28 million ounces, positioning it as a developer in a major West African gold belt.
