Over the stretch, he averaged 34.7 points, 8.7 assists, 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks on 61.2% shooting, including 14 three-pointers. He recorded 30 points and 10 assists in back-to-back games for the first time in his career, marking a career milestone and earning him the top honor. Maxey, now third in the NBA in scoring, also showed improved defense, particularly against Jalen Brunson.
