Naveed Akram, the 24-year-old accused in the December 14, 2025, Bondi Beach terror attack that killed 15 people, has been moved to Goulburn Correctional Centre, a high-security supermax prison in New South Wales.
He faces 59 charges, including 15 counts of murder and one count of terrorism.
Akram, who was shot by police and hospitalized for days, is accused of acting alone, with no evidence of support from extremist groups, despite traveling to the Philippines before the attack.
Authorities found photos of him training with firearms on a farm near Goulburn.
His next court appearance is set for April 8.
Meanwhile, NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon is considering extending emergency powers to restrict public gatherings in major cities for another two weeks.
