Kansas State retains tight ends coach Brian Lepak, who helped lead a historic 2024 tight ends performance.
Kansas State head coach Collin Klein announced on January 5, 2026, that Brian Lepak will remain the team’s tight ends coach.
Lepak, who joined K-State in 2021, previously coached tight ends from 2022 to 2024 and the offensive line in 2025.
Under his guidance, the Wildcats achieved a program milestone in 2024 with two All-Big 12 tight ends—Garrett Oakley (second team) and Will Swanson (honorable mention)—the first such season since 1997.
Oakley also became the first K-State tight end with three consecutive All-Big 12 honors since the conference’s inception.
Lepak helped develop Ben Sinnott, a two-time All-Big 12 selection and 2024 NFL Draft pick, and contributed to a record 13 touchdown receptions by tight ends in 2024.
He also played a role in the offensive line’s top-five rushing efficiency ranking in school history.
