Hyundai has launched its all-electric Elexio mid-size SUV in Australia for $59,990 drive-away, available only in a single-motor Elite variant with a 546km WLTP range, 160kW motor, and 38-minute 10-80% DC fast charging.
Built in China by Beijing Hyundai, it’s tuned for Australian roads with modified suspension and steering.
The Elexio will launch in Q1 2026, slotting between the Kona and Ioniq 5, and includes a five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty extendable to seven years with servicing, plus an eight-year battery warranty.
No crash test results are available, and the Genuine Service Plan’s cost is undisclosed.
