Himachal Pradesh launched digital services, a new city, and urban development projects under its Citizen Connect Program.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched the second phase of the 'Citizen Connect Program', introducing digital services, a new 'Him Chandigarh' city near Baddi, and schemes for small traders and urban poor.
The state rolled out digital door plates for unique household identities, launched 15 shared services centers, and expanded online services via the Him Seva Portal.
Key projects include a ₹400 crore shopping complex in Mandi, ₹150 crore beautification in Hamirpur, and biogas plants using IIT and CSIR partnerships.
The government also announced land pooling for the new city, protected forest land, and incentives for clean urban areas.
