A Glasgow inquiry begins Feb. 10 into the death of Gerard Brown, who waited nearly 40 hours for an ambulance after falling at home in Sept. 2021.
A fatal accident inquiry will begin on February 10 in Glasgow into the death of 65-year-old Gerard Brown, who died September 8, 2021, after falling at his home and waiting nearly 40 hours for an ambulance.
An emergency call was made September 6, but paramedics arrived only after Brown was declared dead.
The inquiry, ordered by Lord Advocate Dorothy Bain, will examine the Scottish Ambulance Service’s response and whether preventive measures could have been taken.
It will focus on facts and recommendations, not blame, and Brown’s family will be kept informed.
