A former Winnipeg cop pleads guilty to trafficking drugs, including to civilians and officers, using his badge from 2016 to 2024.
Elston Bostock, a former Winnipeg police officer with 22 years of service, has pleaded guilty to trafficking cocaine, ecstasy, psilocybin, and prescription drugs between 2016 and 2024, including selling to civilians and fellow officers on and off duty.
He admitted to using his position to facilitate sales in police parking lots, vehicles, and while on duty, often accepting cash, barter, or favors.
Bostock also previously pleaded guilty to misconduct involving human remains, ticket-fixing, theft, and sharing confidential information.
Arrested in 2024 after colleague concerns, he was suspended and dismissed.
Sentencing is pending.
