A Virginia trooper was slightly injured in a crash during a pursuit of a fleeing Honda Accord on I-495 in Alexandria.

The pursuit ended when the trooper veered off the road to avoid a collision, causing the patrol car to hit a tree and roll over. The driver of the Accord remains at large, and the Virginia State Police are investigating the incident. The injured trooper was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
