Brittany Seis, pregnant with twins at 20 weeks, was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) after an ultrasound revealed uneven growth and abnormal blood flow between the twins. Despite earlier reassurances, the condition led to urgent monitoring, daily scans, and an emergency C-section at 33 weeks when one twin’s blood flow stopped. Both boys, born prematurely, spent three weeks in the NICU but have since thrived, meeting all developmental milestones. Seis urges families to seek early detection, trust instincts, and raise awareness, especially during International TTTS Awareness Month.
