Several teams' 2026 NFL schedules have been made public; opponents are chosen based on divisional standings and league rotation regulations. In addition to teams from the NFC East and AFC West and third-place teams from the NFC North, NFC South, and AFC East, the San Francisco 49ers will play all of their NFC West rivals twice. As the NFC West winners, the Seattle Seahawks will play every team in the NFC East and AFC West as well as the third-place teams from the NFC South, NFC North, and AFC East. In addition to second-place teams from the NFC West, NFC East, and AFC South, the Green Bay Packers will play every team in the NFC South and AFC East. Based on their previous year's standings, the Washington Commanders will play nine home games and eight away games, including games against divisional and interconference rivals. In the spring, the complete schedules—complete with times and dates—will be made public.
