The LDV Terron 9 is now $47,990 drive-away, under $50,000, to boost sales and clear inventory.
The LDV Terron 9, a Chinese-built ute, is now priced at $47,990 drive-away until 31 March 2026, a $3,000 reduction from its previous ABN holder price and further below its initial 2025 launch rate.
This positions it under its main Chinese rival, the MG U9, which starts at $52,990 drive-away.
Despite strong early sales compared to the MG U9, the Terron 9 has sold 513 units in its first year, falling short of leaders like the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger.
It features a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine, eight-speed automatic, four-wheel drive, and dual 12.3-inch digital displays.
LDV Australia’s general manager said the sub-$50,000 price aims to boost competitiveness and clear 2025-built inventory.
The smaller T60 Max starts at $45,253 drive-away, and an electric variant, the eTerron 9, is expected in 2026.
