A Dutch court will decide Jan. 14 whether to investigate alleged mismanagement at chipmaker Nexperia, owned by China’s Wingtech.
A Dutch court will hear arguments on January 14 on whether to formally investigate alleged mismanagement at Nexperia, the Dutch-based chipmaker owned by China’s Wingtech.
The hearing follows October actions by the Amsterdam Enterprise Chamber that suspended the former CEO and transferred Wingtech’s shares to a Dutch lawyer.
In September, the Dutch government briefly seized control of the company before reversing the move.
The dispute has contributed to ongoing shortages of basic chips affecting the automotive industry.
The court’s decision will determine if a full investigation proceeds.
