In Fengjie County, Chongqing, drones have cut navel orange transport time from 30 to 10 minutes, boosted harvesting efficiency by over 50%, and reduced costs by about one-third, supporting a 383,000-mu orchard producing over 500,000 tonnes annually. Weekly air shipments, road-to-water shipping, and live-streaming sales campaigns by local officials and returning talent are accelerating distribution to domestic and international markets, enabling farmers to sell hundreds of kilograms daily at higher prices.
