XREAL launches the $449 XREAL 1S AR glasses with improved display, battery, and compatibility.

An improved version of XREAL's entry-level AR glasses, the XREAL 1S, is now available for $449—$50 less than its predecessor. The 1S has a 52-degree field of view, 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 700 nits brightness, 1200p FullHD resolution, enhanced color accuracy, and automatic electrochromic dimming. With the optional XREAL Eye for 6DoF tracking, it can be expanded with the X1 spatial computing chip for real-time 2D-to-3D video conversion and 3DoF tracking. For gadgets like the Nintendo Switch, a new Neo Power Hub, a 10,000 mAh battery with DisplayPort pass-through, improves portability.
