A man in his 30s was found bound and stabbed in the boot of a white Uber-branded Toyota in Villawood, Sydney, early Sunday, sustaining facial injuries and requiring a neck brace; emergency services discovered him after hearing noises, and he was hospitalized in stable condition. Police are investigating a possible abduction and assault, with forensic teams examining the scene. In a separate incident, a 17-year-old passenger allegedly stabbed a 31-year-old Uber driver in Blacktown over a Bluetooth dispute, fled, was arrested, and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, denied bail, and is set for Children’s Court.
