A 62-year-old man in Negeri Sembilan has been remanded for seven more days in connection with an IED explosion at Desa Palma, with police citing his knowledge of explosives and a motive tied to a five-year-old breakup with an ex-girlfriend. Authorities found multiple homemade bombs, including 31 at a nearby shophouse, and the suspect, who sustained burn injuries, admitted to building the device. The explosion occurred when he was moving it in a vehicle. The suspect remains in custody as police continue gathering evidence and reviewing 18 witness statements.
