Ryedale Young Farmers raised £4,875 for a North Yorkshire eating disorder charity during their 50th-anniversary event.
The Ryedale District Young Farmers' Club raised £4,875 for Kick Rexi Out, a North Yorkshire charity supporting families affected by eating disorders, during its 50th-anniversary event in November. The funds came from a charity auction featuring a Michelin-starred dining experience that sold for £1,600. The black-tie ball at Scarborough Spa drew around 350 attendees, including local officials and former members. Founded by Donna Foster after her daughter Annie’s anorexia diagnosis, the charity aims to reduce stigma and improve support in rural areas. The donation will help expand services and strengthen partnerships with local authorities and specialists.
