A new overnight warming centre opened January 2, 2025, in Brockville at 55 Reynolds Drive, offering shelter for up to 40 people nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. until the HART Hub opens in spring. Operated by Bartimaeus with support from the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, it provides food, water, washrooms, and referrals to housing and health services. The facility replaces the closed Co-Operative Care Centre and is fully funded through the county’s Homelessness Prevention Program. Concerns remain about a four-hour gap between the daytime centre’s closure at 4 p.m. and the overnight centre’s opening at 8 a.m. Ontario Works continues to offer daytime case management.
