A new clothing line by Xi'an Polytechnic University’s Hanfu Research Institute revives ancient Chinese styles from the Warring States to Tang dynasties, featuring the Quju Shenyi robe with right-over-left lapels and wide hems, worn in silk or hemp. Lightweight undyed gauze gowns under 50 grams and Tang-era equestrian drummers’ ensembles with peacock crowns, high-waisted skirts, and silk brocade patterns are part of the collection. The designs reflect traditional craftsmanship and contribute to a cultural revival and tourism trend in China.
