A new clothing line from Xi'an Polytechnic University’s Hanfu Research Institute revives ancient Chinese styles from the Warring States to Tang dynasties, featuring the Quju Shenyi robe with right-over-left lapels and wide hems, lightweight undyed gauze gowns, and Tang-era equestrian drummers’ outfits with peacock crowns and silk brocade patterns. The designs, made from silk and hemp, reflect historical craftsmanship and are part of a growing cultural revival supporting tourism and heritage.
